Blooming with the Beauty of Youth Through Labor | Guangte Group’s “May Day” Labor Day Fun Competition Successfully Held

May is a season of labor and youth. On April 29, 2024, as the 134th International Labor Day and the 75th Youth Day approached, Guangte Group's Labor Union Committee organized the "Unite and Flourish Youth" May Day Fun Competition, held on the second floor of the production workshop at the San Shan headquarters.

The competition featured six engaging and challenging events: fire drill races, trivia quizzes, rapid calculations, electrical diagram recognition, quick classification, and tug-of-war. Employees from various positions, including production, technology, marketing, procurement, financial management, and corporate management, eagerly participated, forming 8 teams to compete.

The trivia quiz covered topics such as Guangte Group's qualifications, Weineng Electric’s product knowledge, fire safety, and labor law. Through multiple-choice, true/false, and open-ended questions, the quiz assessed employees' knowledge of the company, fire safety, and legal basics.

Rapid Calculations

Electrical Diagram Recognition

Teams had 5 minutes to study an A3-sized electrical design diagram and then answer questions about the diagram. The speed of the response was crucial, and teams demonstrated thorough understanding and quick thinking.

Quick Classification

Teams selected 3 participants to familiarize themselves with 6 types of bolts within 1 minute. They then had 4 minutes to classify a total of 200 bolts into the 6 categories. This unique competition highlighted the skills and expertise of production line elites.

Tug-of-War

The tug-of-war was intense and spirited, with teams pulling with all their might, showing unity and cooperation. Participants displayed energy and determination, fighting hard to win.

Highlight Moments

After a tense and fierce competition, three teams stood out and won the top three prizes of the May Day event. Union Chairman Hu Zhigao awarded prizes to the champion team, the "Strive for Excellence" team, the runner-up "Wahaha" team, and the third-place "Friendly" team.

This event not only strengthened friendships among employees but also enhanced the company’s cohesion. Going forward, Guangte Group will continue to improve employee skills training, boost professional quality and skill levels, and lay a solid foundation for the company’s ongoing development.
