Building New Energy Storage Stations to Promote High-Quality Development of New Energy — Hebei Xibaipo Energy Storage Demonstration Project Achieves Full-Capacity Grid Connection

On May 20, Guangte Electric’s self-developed energy storage boost and conversion integrated machine was fully grid-connected at the Hebei Xibaipo energy storage demonstration project. This milestone marks a significant step forward for Guangte Group in advancing green and low-carbon transformation.


The project is located in Pingshan County, Hebei Province, and is a national-level pilot demonstration project for new energy storage.


Our company has supplied 10 units of YBM-38.5/0.63/0.63-3200kVA box-type substations, 3 units of YBM-38.5/0.63-2660kVA box-type substations, and 2 units of YBM-38.5/0.63-1330kVA energy storage devices. These are deployed in two photovoltaic-storage areas near Dongwangpo Township, Maquangou, and Han Ding Village, Sujiazhang Township, Pingshan County. Once operational, these energy storage devices will help peak-shave and valley-fill, significantly enhancing the photovoltaic consumption capacity of the regional power grid. This will provide reliable, green electricity for local economic development and contribute to the construction of China's new power system.


To achieve the critical milestone of the project’s “5·20” full-capacity grid connection for energy storage devices, the Equipment and Logistics Departments dispatched senior engineers to the site for inspection before commissioning. They developed a specialized lifting plan for the energy storage integrated machine and tailored a construction plan based on the site environment and construction process. Experienced and professionally qualified personnel were organized to handle the equipment’s transportation and unloading.
